Keynote Speakers

Cara Lee

Cara Lee is a math instructor at Portland Community College and a spiritual teacher with extensive training in Euro/Celtic shamanism. She noticed that she felt energized after energy work with clients but tired after teaching math so she started transferring her spiritual skills to her work at the college. Cara views work as a spiritual practice and helps professionals bring more presence into their work to maintain their resilience. You can read more about her at www.caraklee.com.

St. Clair

Dr. Serena Ota St. Clair

Dr. Serena Ota St. Clair is currently Pathways and Articulation Coordinator at Rogue Community College. Her work centers on developing curriculum and partnerships with area high schools and state universities in order to create meaningful programs that encourage pathways in education. She works to support innovative curriculum projects with grant funding and collaborative efforts among education, service, and foundation organizations. Prior to this work she coordinated entry programs for special populations: transitioning, non-traditional students from diverse backgrounds with a host of socio-economic issues challenging their success. Serena received her doctorate in Educational Leadership. Her research topic focused on Multicultural Competency in Student Affairs Professionals. Her passion centers on transformational leadership, access to education, and the practice of living systems in organizations.

Donna

Donna Lewelling

Donna Lewelling is an Education and Workforce Coordinator for the Oregon Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development (CCWD). As a member of the Research and Communication Team, Donna coordinates the Oregon Community College Student Success Initiative, FTE Audit and Credit for Prior Learning efforts. Before joining CCWD in 2006, Donna worked for the Department of Human Services and spent several years as a consultant for Head Start programs statewide.
