Bonnie Milletto

Bonnie Milletto is a high energy, dynamic and humorous International Keynote Speaker, Author, Columnist and Inspirational Light! She has a passion and a talent for storytelling. After serving thirteen years with Chemeketa Community College as a Marketing Project Coordinator, Co-Chair of the 2008 college bond levy and frequent contributor to staff & faculty training, Bonnie relaunched her successful Portland, Oregon, based consulting and speaking company in March, 2013. She is author of the book, Dedicated To The Cup, Nine Ways To Reinvent A Life! and a featured columnist for Willamette Living Magazine. Bonnie is a past two-term Chamber of Commerce President, Board Member of Fostering Hope, Board Member of Salem Visitors Association, Vision 2020 Salem, current member of the National Speakers Association Oregon and a featured keynote speaker for SpeakerExpo, a Portland, Oregon, based full service event planning company. Bonnie delivers a powerful message of taking personal responsibility for your results in life and inspires change from the inside-out!

Dr. Belle S. Wheelan, Ph.D.

Dr. Wheelan currently serves as President of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and is the first African American and the first woman to serve in this capacity. Her career spans 40 years and includes the roles of faculty member, chief student services officer, campus provost, college president and Secretary of Education. In several of those roles she was the first African American and/or woman to serve in those capacities.

Dr. Wheelan received her Bachelor’s degree from Trinity University in Texas (1972) with a double major in Psychology and Sociology, her Master’s from Louisiana State University (1974) in Developmental Educational Psychology, and her Doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin (1984) in Educational Administration with a special concentration in community college leadership. She has received numerous awards and recognition including four honorary degrees. She also holds and has held membership in numerous local, state and national organizations.

Leigh Anne Jasheway, M.P.H.

Leigh Anne Jasheway, M.P.H. (master of public health/mistress of public humor) is a stress management and humor expert who helps people manage stress, embrace change, and become healthier by learning to lighten up. She speaks at 30-40 conferences and workshops every year and is a member of the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor (AATH). She is the author of 21 books, including How’d All These Ping Pong Balls Get In My Bag!?, Don’t Get Mad, Get Funny; Not Guilty by Reason of Menopause, 101 Comedy Games for Children and Grown-Ups, and Bedtime Stories for Dogs. She is the 2003 winner of the national Erma Bombeck Humor Writing Award for her true story on how her first mammogram caught on fire. She teaches at both the University of Oregon and Lane Community College, is a humor columnist for the Register Guard’s Dash Magazine, a blogger for multiple online sites, and former host of The Giggle Spot on All Comedy 1450 AM. Chicamarimba

An eight-woman marimba band whose high energy instrumental and vocal harmonies won’t let you sit still.

Chicamarimba is composed of eight women musicians. This Portland, Oregon dance band performs upbeat world music blending African and Latin American rhythms, as well as contemporary favorites for all ages to enjoy. Instrumentation consists of seven marimbas, drums, hosho (African gourd shakers) and a variety of percussion instruments. Vocals include traditional Zimbabwean harmonies and contemporary songs. Chicamarimba performances are lively, high-energy, and exhilarating. The band performs in a variety of venues including community festivals, corporate events, weddings, parties and multicultural events. This Portland band exudes magic and passion.

Say Yes

Join Portland area singer-songwriters Nan Collie and Kathleen Fallon as they collaborate with the amazing fiddle/mandolin player and vocalist, Crystal Reeves, in making music that will fill your spirit. Together they perform original songs based on their life experiences of relationships, hope, change, life’s small absurdities, and more. With their strong blend of vocals and acoustic instruments, they are known for their warmth, spontaneity and rapport with their audiences. Nan and Kathleen have performed for over thirty years with the group Motherlode, during which time they acquired loyal fans from Canada to California and beyond who appreciate their heartfelt and often humorous lyrics as well as their commitment to each other and to their audiences. Crystal, an Ashland area musician, has toured internationally with such groups as the Robin Flower Band, as well as having been a featured instrumentalist in the Ashland Shakespeare Festival. When not performing with Nan and Kathleen, she currently sits in with all-woman rock band, Blue Lightening, bluegrass band, Siskiyou Summit, and several other local bands. Nan, Kathleen and Crystal’s newest CD, Say Yes, is an energetic and inspirational compilation of their newest songs. An evening spent with this trio is one that will keep your toe tapping and your heart humming for a long time afterwards!
