Keynote speakers

Sharon Lacey

Sharon Lacey has had more adventures in the past twelve years than most people experience in a lifetime.  In addition to being a sought-after keynote speaker, Sharon is also an internationally touring headlining comedian. She performs all across the USA, has been to Iraq twice to entertain our troops, and performs stand up comedy for Ugandan audiences in two of their tribal languages.

All of this comes after Sharon’s earlier careers as a radio dj, television news producer, and a national award winning middle school teacher. She was a national Disney American Teacher Award honoree; TCI Oregon Teacher of the Year; and a consultant for the Disney Learning Project and the Harvard Zero Project.

Sharon’s memoir,  A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Dementia:  A Stand Up Comedian’s Race Against Time, was published this year.

Diane Allen

Diane knows the personal barriers that keep people from consistently operating in their “A” game. She knows firsthand how the sum becomes greater than all of the parts when everyone is operating at their peak and how that effects the bottom line. Diane is a peak performance speaker, a peak performance coach, and a retired concert violinist.

She has been the featured speaker for leadership conferences, women’s conferences, and network marketing events. She has been the first place winner for numerous speaking competitions. Diane has been a peak performance coach for TEDxBend, the Bend Venture Conference, women in upper management at companies such as VMWare, HSBC, and Charles Schwab. She has coached CEO’s and network marketers.

Diane was the concertmaster (the lead violin player) of the Central Oregon Symphony for 15 years where she had to show up with unwavering excellence. Any mistake on her part immediately caused a negative domino effect. Diane knows firsthand how the level of her performance influenced the collective to achieve greater heights.

Diane and her husband live in beautiful Bend, OR. Empty nesters, their son is in his adventure phase. When not speaking, Diane can be found out on a hike, cross country skiing, or attending live music events. And while she finds sewing a button the most challenging thing on the planet, she’ll drop everything to volunteer for non-profits and vulnerably share stories that can bring levity and profound understanding.
