AAWCC 2007 Conference / November 15-16, 2007
"She Flies with Her Own Wings"
Presenter Tips
Conference Home
- A volunteer
will be assigned to introduce you and collect feedback forms.
- Arrive early and make sure your room is ready.
- An AAWCC Board member or volunteer should
be available to assist (e.g., if the room is too hot, missing
equipment, etc).
- Workshop time frames are fairly short.
Plan carefully how much information and interaction can be
done within the time limit.
- Start and end the workshop on time.
- Provide hand-outs. Bring books or other
materials to share.
- Tell participants what you plan to cover
and keep things moving.
- Make your presentation as engaging as
possible. Combine theory with practice, presentation with
discussion, concepts or principles with life experiences
and personal observations.
- Your
contribution is critical to making this conference what it is.
Thanks!
